BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) _ Axcelis Technologies Inc. (ACLS) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $40.3 million. The Beverly, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of $1.21 per share. The semiconductor services company posted revenue of $229.2 million in the period. For the current quarter ending in December, Axcelis said it expects revenue in the range of $232 million to $240 million. Axcelis shares have declined 23% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $57.
