BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) — BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) — Axcelis Technologies Inc. (ACLS) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $47.7 million. The Beverly, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of $1.43 per share. The semiconductor services company posted revenue of $254 million in the period. For the current quarter ending in June, Axcelis said it expects revenue in the range of $255 million to $260 million. Axcelis shares have increased 54% since the beginning of the year.
