BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) _ Axcelis Technologies Inc. (ACLS) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $44.2 million. On a per-share basis, the Beverly, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of $1.32. The semiconductor services company posted revenue of $221.2 million in the period. For the current quarter ending in October, Axcelis said it expects revenue in the range of $220 million to $228 million. Axcelis shares have declined 2.5% since the beginning of the year.
